Woops! So I started a blog with ALL of the right intentions, and then a few months passed and I forgot my password. So, that didn't quite go to plan, but I guess a few other things got in the way, and those things are ticking along alright. I've been writing the first draft of my novel, which (to my surprise) was longlisted for the Bath Novel Award (an international prize for emerging writers). But in between chapters, holidays in Scotland, visiting family and being Tia Maria to my lovely little niece, I've had a few thoughts creep up on me, and since those are always better out than in, here goes....
